Would you like to help Schteve? Then do this
I promise this assignment won't cause you to want to smash your computer as much as the last one.
So what I need to do is get my page ranked as high as possible when you Google the word "rankmaniac." This is fairly simple given the way Google does things. Basically, I just need as many pages to link to my page as possible.
So, if you want to help (even Al did, look: http://www.gamewinners.com/links.html), please just include a link to my page on your website or blog or MySpace or anywhere in the world that people might visit. You also need to have the word "rankmaniac" somewhere on there for it to contribute in Google. The more important your page is, the more linking to me improves my ranking, so including the link on high traffic pages would be wonderful. Also preferably put it with few other links aside from mine (as the more links you have on a page, the more the importance is degraded, though this is usually unavoidable anyway). And of course, if you know any friends with sites or blogs, ask them too! This assignment goes for a month so I need links to stay up until then.
