N-Gage to get a Spidey game.
From GameSpot, "The other new feature of Gran Turismo 4 that Yamauchi was eager to show off was what he referred to as the game's "human elements". Not only will you be able to see realistically animated drivers inside all of the cars now (complete with helmets that show off the game's real-time environment mapping as well as the cars do), but you'll also find that the spectators have evolved from cardboard cutouts into fully 3D, animated models. The crowds aren't content to just stand behind barriers and clap as you race past either, and particularly during rallies you'll see spectators stepping onto the track to get a better view or to take photos before jumping out of the way when you approach. The spectator animations are extremely realistic and, like those used for the drivers, have been created using a human physics engine rather than motion-capture techniques."

N-Gage game from Japan expected by the end of the year.
From GameSpot, "The booth build of Xanadu Next featured your sword-swinging hero in a fully-3D texture-mapped castle courtyard. Gameplay consisted of maneuvering the swordsman through a series of maze-like areas and vanquishing the occasional enemy, all from a beautiful isometric viewpoint. A simple overhead map updated dynamically from the corner of the screen as you progressed through the game. Although the only functionality enabled for the test build was moving, attacking, and rotating the camera around your character, the graphics were silky-smooth and updated at a very appreciable framerate. Conceptually, the gameplay seemed like a combination of Gauntlet and the N64 Zelda titles. Although no other attack methods were included in this pre-release version, a Nokia representative assured us that Xanadu Next's protagonist will eventually have access to a wide range of weapons and magic spells."
