Atleast Blizzard has the balls to do something about that kinda ####, when I used to play FFXI, online auctions and people selling accounts made making money in the game and the pure enjoyment of the game go downhill. Yeah, I really got to give probs to Blizzard entertainment for taking action for this. Before this I couldn't go 2 hours without some farmer massaging me to "buy gold at itembay.com"... more like 2 minutes.

Im glad to see blizzard taking action on this.
i am personally sick of seeing cheaters prosper and people who dont play the game right. with blizzard taking this action WoW's economy will be more stable and gameplay will be fairer.

I actually play WOW and even thought the accounts have been shut down, there is still a big asian farmer problem. There is no reason 1 person named Xiaoxiao should be selling 5 of the exact same rare item.

I was one of the people that got banned. :| I was just a gnome though. I had a hacking program to have unlimited gold. It messed with the region encoding.

I had enough fun doing Diablo and Call of Duty at friend's houses. But when people cheat in online games...its annoying as hell. They should be shot.

i play wc3 and hackers are everywhere 18,000 acc is nothing when you compare it to how many play bnet games nin whole when they start to purge there online games like diablo,starcraft, wow and the rest of there games then i'll give props but till that day i fear i'll have to take matters in my own hands and as you read this i'm already devoloping software that will detect any hacking and i will share this with you all

well i gotta say Blizzard is the best when it comes to their online PC games Sony and LucasArts on the other hand, when they try to fix something they always end up screwing something else thats just as important up, I wish Blizzard ran Star Wars Galaxies then I bet it would be so much better, keep up your good work blizzard, at least you dont have to put out a new patch every couple of days like sony does.
