Strawberry Shortcake Sweet Dreams announced
Majesco Entertainment Company today announced that America's sweetest sweetheart, Strawberry Shortcake, will star in the brand new Game Boy Advance adventure Strawberry Shortcake Sweet Dreams.
The game is based on the October premiere of the theatrical movie from DIC Entertainment, the brand licensor, and American Greetings, the Strawberry Shortcake brand creator.
“Generation after generation, the Strawberry Shortcake brand has continued its unprecedented growth to become one of the strongest franchises for today's young girls,” said Ken Gold , vice president of Marketing, Majesco Entertainment. “Our new Strawberry Shortcake Sweet Dreams video game offers fans an original interactive experience that serves as a perfect complement to the film.”
Developed by Gorilla Games, Strawberry Shortcake Sweet Dreams is based on scenes from the upcoming “Sweet Dreams” movie and incorporates actual images from the CGI-animated film. Strawberry Shortcake Sweet Dreams lets fans play as Strawberry Shortcake and her friends Raspberry Torte, Angel Cake, Ginger Snap and even Sleepbug. Flying, driving and adventure scenarios challenge the characters to work together to save Strawberryland and beat the Purple Pieman! As the game progresses, My Sweets mode also details each character's accomplishments and unlocks special pictures. Strawberry Shortcake Sweet Dreams will be available in late September for a suggested retail price of $19.99.
