Wireless gaming given serious efforts at E3

Nokia leads the way with new games announced for the N-Gage. From Wireless Week, "Nokia also is adding eight more games to the N-Gage platform and announced partnerships with high-profile game firms such as Atari and Capcom. The first Atari titles, which include such popular games at DRIV3R and Civilization, are expected to be available for N-Gage in 2005. Other new games planned for N-Gage include FIFA 2005 and SSX Out of Bounds, Rifts, King of Fighters and Xanadu Next. In addition, Nokia provided the media with a glimpse at Glimmerati, a Nokia-developed game that will be exclusive to the N-Gage. According to Raiskinen, Nokia is planning to have a portfolio of 50 game titles available for N-Gage by year-end."
