Grand Theft Auto Advance details

Coming in October, the game is similar to Grand Theft Auto 3, with a Liberty City setting. From Ferrago, "In the game, players assume the role of retiring hoodlum Mike, whose partner Vinnie is killed in a carbombing leaving him as the prime suspect. From here the games plotline is said to commence. As the story is furthered, Mike will be found pounding the streets in search of the true culprits in order to clear his name. The game is played from a 2D top-down perspective, but the GBA's Liberty City is three times bigger than the PS2 version as a result."

"Flippable vehicles, secret packages and progress stats will all remain intact from the original GTA3. Transparent scenery and a zooming camera should ensure you're in complete control at all times, and the player will also be given the option of fixing the position of the usually zooming camera. A new strafing control will be available in on-foot combat, whilst vehicle handling will be improved with shifting weight."
