Lara Croft cannot happen again
Toby Gard, creator of Tomb Raider and Lara Craft, believes that no other gaming character can follow her footsteps.
From newkarala, "According to The Sun, Toby Gard, the 'Tomb Raider' creator has credited the popularity of Lara Croft to his initiatives taken nearly a decade ago. Gard further said that he did not believe that any game publisher would be willing to put millions into an unknown title, given the current trend to play it safe with sequels and movie spin-offs."
"'Lara Croft was a special case. It seems unlikely that anyone would do that again. It just happened to be the right thing at the right time,' he added."

Lara croft sucks, the only thing she's good for is porn. The lara croft games are horrible. Whoever thought of making this crappy character must have been held at gun point to make lara croft. Screw tomb raider, it sucks oversized cock. I rented "angel of darkness" (what kind of shitty, cliché title is that anyway? That's the least creative title.), and I started a game. The shitty voice of lara croft tells me to move with the analog stick. I do so. I die because I ran into a dog that's on a leash. To make matters worse, there was no animation of the dog killing me, so I didn't know what the hell hit me until I thought about the possible things that could've happened. I first thought she got shot by some civilian who hates lara croft that had a silencer on his pistol, but I remembered that the dipshit who made this game is too self absorbed to let lara croft die by some guy who hates her. So no one hates lara croft, except shitty pets and shitty criminals who don't know how to aim (or be criminals in that case). Lara Croft sucks, and the movies, and the games. Please ban these god forsaken Lara Croft games, and anything else that has to do with lara croft, or anything that has "tomb raider" in it.

shut up man youve never even played any TR games besides angel of darkness (which btw even diehard tomb raider fans hated) youdont know a damn thing man the game was a "force release" by eidos ie they made core design release it before it was ready and lastly PORN?? wtf ????! you look at porn ? what kind of loser are you?
