Pokemon Emerald plot details
Japan's Coro Coro Comic is revealing piece-by-piece details of the new game in each issue. Pokemon Emerald will also be bundled with the GBA wireless adaptor, just like its Leaf Green and Fire Red counterparts.
From GameScience, "More about the game will be revealed little by little in future episodes, but so far it is known that the story takes place on both land and sea, featuring both Team Magma and Team Aqua, and their bid to take over the world. Seven types of big battle will be introduced at Battle Frontier. The first two to be revealed are Battle Dome, where you can take only 3 pokemon, and Battle Tube, where the correct entrance of a group of three must be chosen to reach the goal."
"The main characters are completely new and the battles have been spruced up in a number of ways. Both trainers can now attack at the same time. In one-on-one battles, an extra person can run into the battle. Also, prior to battles, Pokemon can perform an action. Exact details are not known about these additions, though the game will be playable at the Pokemon Festa from 17 July."
