Microsoft has announced "Project Natal", a controller for the Xbox 360 that uses depth-sensing cameras, microphones, voice and facial recognition recognition, and full body motion sensing. It will allow gamers to play without using their hands in the normal manner. For example, motions gripping an imaginary steering wheel could drive a car; or real time kicks and punches may mirror the on-screen action.
